The devil and religion

Nearly All people hold Jesus in a high regard. However they then often discredit that he was God and born from A Virgin. They then discredit his miracles and look to him a a wise teacher.

Why would they want to chop down or tall poppy someone who they look upto?

Christians want/aim/try/work towards being like Jesus. If they do not have a revelation of His love (a revelation that He loved you first before you worked for him, before you were nice to him) they feel comdemned.

Not coping with this condemnation they bring their goal down to where they are at, they chop Jesus down. Trying to make Jesus a person - so miracles and the resurrection become mere figures of speeches and metaphors. In doing so they take away from the gospel the basis of christianity and the church.

They take the power and God away from the gospel leaving you with rules, laws and values.

They then wonder why no one wants to become a christian. So they seek people out and become friendly they try to make people feel comfortable so they change the rules/laws/values asweel. SO that people feel comfortablee instead of convicted (because they are in sin, and are to rebellious to want to change) so that people come to church. Yes people are going to church.Although church now has now God and the values have been compromised so people actually come - so in reality they are going to a 'Sunday cafe', or a 'Sunday night club' Clubs now cater for everyone they have some aimed towards rebellious people they have some aimed towards clubbers with loud music and flashing lights. Some are aimed towards cafe goers with before during and after church cafes. While others still are aimed towards the more seniour with organs and pianos and no drums. People can now go to church and not even meet God, let alone the Holy Spirit.

All because people don't/didn't spend time with God trying to know Him & experience His love and mercy. Instead they try to understand it.

'Having a form of Godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, Always learning and never able to come to the full knowledge ot the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disaproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was" 2 Timothy.

People should never take away the power from God.

Jesus was a great teacher, but what he also was was a great healer. Every time he taught he first healed. He taught a healed people. He didn't teach people into healing he HEALED them miraculously - there were daily miracles.

"For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are writeen in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book". Revelation 22

Jesus used to go away and seek God, not study God or learn about God but he knew his Father intimately.

So seek God.
Become a friend of God.
Pray & fellowship with God.
Read his Word to you.

Don't read about him, don't know about him.
Know Him

YOU

God has a plan for your life - and he had planned your life from before you were conceived! This means two things: 1 you are not an accident.
2 You have a purpose that you can achieve.

So God created you for a purpose and he gave you a name that matches his purpose.
Names carry meaning and authority, Jesus writes our name in the Lamb's book of Life and having your name in the book gives you entry to Heaven. But your name is also your identity for example I am Timothy meaning - honouring God, or to Honour God.

My name has a meaning but there is more to my identity than just that. I am also a Son of God, a Joint Heir with Christ - that means I am
Timothy (Honouring God), a Son of God, a joint Heir with Christ.
However God created me with a plan a vision - and once i understand that i can begin to grasp my identity. God has called me to be a preacher and bring up young people in God to set them free, deliver and teach them.

So I am Timothy Honouring God, a Son of God, a joint Heir with Christ, a Preacher, a Deliverer, a Teacher, a bringer of freedom.

And once you begin to realise who you are you can start to act accordingly.
You can realise that you are able to do it, and that you need to do it - because God created you to fulfill his vision for you... no one else can! It is your responsibility to step up to the plate and complete it. who are we to think that we have a better idea of what we should do - we were created for God's vision. It is like custom fitting a snowboard to someone - then giving it to someone else STUPID... don't shy away from your calling God created then called you to do it - all that is waiting is for you to get on your face and be equipped RUN BOLDLY TO YOUR DAD and get what you need he has it ready for you.

BE BOLD BLESSED AND A CONQUEROR.
